  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Sambal Oelek (see note)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
  • 3 scallions, white and green parts, thinly sliced
  • 1 pound sushi-grade ahi tuna
    (such as yellowfin or big-eye tuna),

What Goes into our Food

Susans Table puts great importance on quality and consistency. To ensure this, we strive to use the highest quality ingredients imported directly from the farms in Korea that grow and ferment them.

Among the traditional Korean condiments that we use are soy sauce, different vinegar varieties, as well as chili and soybean pastes. These fermented sauces are natural prebiotics and probiotics which are great for the digestive system and improves overall health.

Susan Lee, the genius behind Susans Table, was a first-generation supermodel who was known for her incredible physique. Committed to a holistic and healthy approach to food, she pursued her passion for cooking after retiring from modelling and had formal training at The Cordon Bleu, Korean Royal Food Research Institute, and the WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust).

The best food cities of the world became her runway and she explored different cuisines in her travels which fueled her passion for cooking and promoting healthy food with the use of natural and organic ingredients.

Going back to her roots, Susan now struts through the local food scene in SIngapore by bringing traditional Korean food that stays true to the cuisine’s careful and methodical approach.

Committed to a holistic and healthy approach to food, she pursued her passion for cooking after retiring from modelling. She had formal training at The Cordon Bleu, Korean Royal Food Research Institute, and the WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust). Thru her travels to the best food cities of the world, she explored different cuisines and flourished her passion for cooking and promoting healthy food. 

Going back to her roots, Susan now struts through the local food scene in Singapore by bringing traditional Korean food that stays true to the cuisine’s careful and methodical approach.

After retiring from modeling and traveling across the globe to explore the world’s best cuisines, Susan Lee goes back to her roots to create gourmet Korean meals for local foodies in Singapore.
